Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Welcome to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by our Enkaji Safaris representative and transferred to The African Tulip, one of Arusha’s most charming boutique hotels.
Spend the remainder of the day unwinding after your international journey and enjoy the warm hospitality before your safari adventure begins.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart with packed picnic lunches for Tarangire National Park, famous for its iconic baobab trees, diverse landscapes, and one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants.
Embark on an exciting game drive through the park, keeping an eye out for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, warthogs, ostriches, and a remarkable variety of birdlife. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a vital water source, attracting an abundance of wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Later, proceed to Tarangire Sopa Lodge, beautifully situated on an elevated escarpment overlooking the surrounding wilderness. Relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before dinner.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, depart Tarangire and journey towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. As you ascend into the lush volcanic highlands, admire breathtaking views of rolling hills, forests, and traditional Maasai villages.
Arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, perfectly positioned along the crater rim with magnificent views over the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. The lodge’s stone architecture blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, offering an unforgettable safari atmosphere.

Day 4: Full-Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari
After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres (2,000 feet) into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy a full-day game drive across the crater floor, home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Look out for the endangered black rhinoceros, lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, jackals, and vibrant flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your wildlife adventure.
Later, return to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening overlooking the crater.

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, travelling through breathtaking landscapes while enjoying wildlife sightings along the route.
Upon entering the Serengeti, begin your game drive across the endless plains in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and numerous antelope species.

Day 6: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s finest wildlife destinations.
Accompanied by your professional safari guide, venture across vast savannahs, rocky kopjes, and river systems in search of the Serengeti’s incredible wildlife. Encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, elands, topis, and more than 500 bird species.
If travelling during the Great Migration season, witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles as thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Return to Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge for your final evening on safari.
